Located about 10 miles south of Black Mountain in the Broad River Township, Buncombe, North Carolina, this section of the Broad River parallels Hwy 9 heading south toward Bat Cave. Toad Rock measures roughly 20 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet tall at it’s highest point (4 feet tall at it’s lowest point), with a wedged shape, giving it an estimated weight of 250,000 pounds.
